The University of Florida’s Spring Commencements occurred a few weeks ago, which means a bunch of new Gator grads are looking for jobs. This is a difficult time to look for work in the United States, particularly in Florida.
According to The U.S. Department of Labor’s latest quarterly report, the Sunshine State has a bit of a rain cloud over it. Florida’s unemployment rate of 11.1 percent is the third highest state unemployment rate in the country.
The South Florida ABA chapter interviewed UF Career Resource Center Assistant Director of Employee Development, Nadene Reynolds. She offered career advice to alumni and explained how the CRC can help Gators looking to land a job.
